Martina’s journey into Ashtanga yoga began in Rome at the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute, where she studied under the guidance of Rossana Galanzi, Sergio Rossetti, and Maria Paola Stefani. This strong foundation was further enriched through workshops with Lino Miele, expanding her knowledge of the practice.
After relocating to Australia, Martina continued to practice with Mark Togni, refining her skills and expanding her approach. She later completed her 200-hours Yoga Teacher Training with Monica Gauci and Gregor Maehle, immersing herself in the study of asana, adjustments, chanting, pranayama, meditation, and philosophy.
Rooted in tradition yet free from dogma, Martina emphasizes alignment and breath as the cornerstones of a sustainable and transformative practice. Her approach is thoughtful and adaptable, honoring the individual needs of each student.
Beyond teaching, Martina remains a lifelong student—continuously reading, exploring, and deepening her understanding of yoga. Her commitment to ongoing study ensures that her teaching remains both grounded and evolving, offering students a practice that is both enriching and inspiring.
